How's this like Jesus?

Really, in any situation, you can have a teachable moment about God and His character.

As I was filling up a water bottle with milk (I like to make my own chocolate milk and I reuse my water bottles), I was pouring in the milk and I realized that when I went too fast, I got sloppy and it spilt everywhere. But when I took my time, I got it all in and it was efficient.

I asked myself: HOW'S THIS LIKE JESUS?

Well, I can't get all of what God has for me all at once because I'm not ready for it.. it will be sloppy and I won't be able to handle it all. But when I take what He gives me, learn from it, and grow, I can begin to handle more and more.

Try to find situations today to help your kids link together what they do in their every day lives to Jesus!
